SpringSeal, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for conducting quality inspections, collecting and analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Visually inspect product to ensure parts are meeting customer requirements
• Maintain daily housekeeping in and around the Quality Lab area
• All required information must be filled out accurately and timely
• At the end of the shift he/she will communicate to the next shift any concerns or issues
• Complies with all safety policies and procedures including Personal Protective Equipment and Health Protocol
• Ability to read and interpret quality documents and engineering drawings.
• Have working knowledge of measurement gages, calipers, micrometers, height gages, & optical comparator (Keyance), Instron
• File and maintain all inspection and other quality documents
• Maintain equipment calibration and measuring & testing equipment.
• Monitor and control non-conforming material
• Evaluate problems, determine root causes, and make recommendations for possible corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision

Required Knowledge and Skill Sets:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Good interpersonal skills, phone manners and the ability to work with others
• Ability to provide guidance, in a constructive manner, in the event of a non-conformance.
• Familiarity with RCA, PDCA, & 7-Step problem solving
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, data stratification
• Good organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Must be able to work both independently with minimal guidance as well within a team setting
